Case Mathew Bishop decided to make his arrival on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 12:47am. I was having small contractions all day on that Sunday and wasn't sure if it was the "real" thing but we decided to go in anyway. The entire labor/delivery experience was amazing. The epidural went well and I couldn't complain at all. Case arrived weighing 7lbs 11oz and was 20 inches long. We have had a great first two weeks with the new addition to our family. My mom, grandma and dad made it to that night here to Texas. Kirby flew in that Tuesday and Kelsey on Wednesday. They all left except for Mom on the following Sunday. Mom stayed an additional week and dad came back to get her this past Thursday. It was SO nice having her here. Today is our first official day home by ourselves :) We had to go to the Dr on Saturday morning because Case has been coughing and was real stuffy. This is very common in newborns so I wasn't too concerned. Turns out, he has RSV but is quickly recovering. I feel so bad for him being so small and already sick. We just keep using saline drops and sucking that gunk out of his little nose. When we went to the Dr, he weighed 8lbs 2.5oz so he is already growing so fast!
