Kylynn Sue Bishop 2 months

Sweet baby girl is growing SO fast. I know everyone says it goes by so quickly and boy, it sure does. This baby girl is am amazing baby and I can't even believe how lucky Ryan and I are...

*she has been sleeping 9-6 some nights and others she will wake at 4 and go back to sleep til 7ish. She is a great sleeper and has been from the beginning.

* she already weighs almost 12 pounds. We go on Tuesday for her 1 month check up...shots, ick.

* she is holding her head up much better, tummy time is NOT something she enjoys at all

* she has been joining us at the dinner table in the high chair. We like to have her at the table with us!

* She smiles like CRAZY...she likes to smile at dad a whole lot, he is pretty goofy. She smiles at Case and is starting to coo and talk. I imagine if she talks as much as her brother, we are all in trouble.

* Mommy feels like I have to put her down ALL the time and that she is just a happy go lucky baby who NEVER fusses. I just have this guilty feeling most of the day that she isn't getting the attention Case got but it is just tough. He is just crazy and she takes it all in :)

* She has been sporting some CURLY hair the past few days. It has always been real curly right out of the bath but with this humidity, it has been super curly. People used to stop my Mom in the grocery store and talk about my curls, maybe it will be the same for her :)

* LOVE LOVE LOVE this baby girl. I cannot imagine life without her and am so thankful we were blessed with a baby girl as precious as she is.

Cute Things He Says...

I just want to document some of the things Mr. Case Mathew Bishop says before I forget...

* When going to the park today he said, are we going to the sand park mommy, I said no, he said oh, maybe another day...

* I played 9 holes yesterday...

* Let's roll daddy-o

* I need to check my email (on his Leapfrog Laptop)

* I want to go to the coumply club (country club)

* I NEED it (anything he wants)

* Look at baby Kylynn, she looks pretty

* 2 minutes mom (when he wants 2 more minutes), the boy can negotiate :)

* Wrigley, watch this (anything he is doing)

* Let me do it (new saying)

* Mamma, what you doing? (probably says this 100 times a day or more)

* What's that mamma? (another 100 times a day)

* Where we going mamma?

That's all I can think of right now but may have to come back and add to it later :) Love this sweet kid. We have our challenging times as a 2 year old but for the most part he cracks me up and is NON stop 12 hours a day (minus a short nap :) He loves his baby sister and is a big helper for the most part!

Case and Kylynn

Case is an amazing BIG brother! My favorite moments are when he leans in to kiss her "just because". I don't tell him to kiss her, love her, pat her, etc very often but he just does it on his own. He wants to give her paci to her when she fusses even the slightest bit. He gives her a lovie to hold when he gets up in the morning. Case turned two amongst the excitement of Kylynn and has enjoyed all of his "presents" to the fullest. Case has become more independent and will just play and play all on his own.

Case Loves...
* being outdoors whenever we have the opportunity
* playing with his barn full of these teeny tiny animals he hauls around everywhere
* golfing (and is using close to the correct form)
* shooting baskets
* hitting the baseball off the tee
* dancing to any type of music
* wrestling with Daddy
* reading reading reading
* eating at Chick Fil-A
* coloring
* putting puzzles together
* counting, saying his ABC's, singing

Case is an amazing little boy. He continues to surprise us with the things he knows at 2 years of age. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. He is adjusting well to the new baby sister...

Kylynn Loves...
* to be held, Mommy has a hard time putting her down (a guilt thing, I think)
* eating, WOW, this girl can eat fast and is growing so quickly!
* sleeping...sometimes I have to take all her clothes off just to wake her up
* looking all around

Kylynn is also a blessing from above. She is beautiful and a very easy-going baby. She hardly ever cries, only if she is hungry. She has blue eyes for now and lots of super dark hair. We can't even begin to express our love for the baby girl...

Kylynn Sue Bishop

Wow, where does the time go? I really need to keep up with this so we have something to look back on in the years to come...

Kylynn Sue Bishop was born on January 31st, 2012 at 4:57pm. She weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 20 inches long.

Kelsey flew here on Wednesday, January 25th. We figured Kylynn would be born SOME time before she planned to fly out on February 6th. I was dilated to 2cm for the longest time so we scheduled to be induced on the 31st. It was a really hard decision for me since Case came on his own...I just wanted to her to make her on appearance. I went into "false" labor on the night of the 26th, went to the hospital and all that, only to be sent home in tears. I felt so foolish but it happens, I guess.

We went in on the 31st at 5am. I of course did not sleep that night worrying but at least could be at peace knowing Kelsey was home with Case to take care of him. It was a LONG day, well 12 hours, to be exact. Little stubborn girl did not want to enter this world but finally did. I was never in any pain and was relaxed the entire time. What am amazing experience it was again for Ryan and I.

We only stayed ONE night because I do not enjoy being at the hospital and begged to go home. The one night we did stay, Ryan was over there on his little pull out couch just a snoring away and woke up after about 8 hours of sleep refreshed and ready for his day. Seriously...he said it was like a hotel stay. We went home on Wednesday, February 1st and were greeted by Grandpa Vern, Great Grandma Hoskin, Aunt Kirby and Great Aunt Lori. It was so great to have them here for 5 days.

Kylynn Sue Bishop has a guardian angel who watches over us at all times. Cindy Sue Neill is in heaven watching down on us and I am sure wishing she were here. If she only knew how much I wish she was here...Kylynn will never have the opportunity to know such an amazing Grandma but I will be sure to tell her as often as possible how wonderful my Mother was and how I can only hope to be as good as a Mom myself...

Holidays

It sure has been a busy time of year, just as it is for everyone. We are finally settled back into a routine and just awaiting the arrival of baby girl. I went to the Dr on Tuesday and she said she was measuring about a week ahead of schedule. She is 6.9lbs already and head down so that's a blessing :) I don't want her to be TOO early, but am ready whenever she is! We had a nice Christmas back in Iowa. We flew there on Wednesday, December 22nd and stayed through the 30th. We enjoyed time at Bishop's and in Bloomfield. Case was SO good and loved presents this year :) We hope you all had a blessed holiday season as well and will keep you all updated on the arrival of Kylynn Sue Bishop :)

Case LOVES reading the "Goldbug" book with my Dad...

Didn't seem to mind Santa at all...

Happiest child on the block...Merry Christmas!

Before a Christmas Party...35 weeks pregnant :)

Fall Family Pics

Mamie Woods does an amazing job with our family photos. Here are a few from our recent photo session. We went to a ranch in McKinney early one Sunday morning. Case did SUCH a good job and we had tons of fun!
